Custom Appointment Calendar
A cellular provider was looking for a new way to
encourage customers to renew their plans with them. Because
of their highly competitive market, they needed a form of
advertising that would stay with customers for as long as
possible.
The company decided to try a calendar program, because of
the extended in-home life of an advertising calendar. A
custom date grid was added to a 13-month scenic, and a
custom back mount and cover letter were also included.
The calendars were distributed to new and existing customers
that purchased a one-year service plan. Customers responded
well to the complementary calendars.
The cellular provider reported that they experienced an
increase in the amount of repeat plan purchasers, and that
fewer customers were switching providers after their
contracts were up. The company considered the calendar
program a success and plans to use a similar strategy in the
future.
