This morning I wake up and I see an email from Panera Bread. I am a rewards member so I get emails from them often. The email has a really intriguing headline “Tim start your day free all month long” so it’s got me interested without question.
I open the email up and it says “a reward is on your card” scrolling down I see a picture of some bagels and a strong headline that reads “Free Bagel Every Day In May” I was like wow a free bagel every day in May that’s powerful. Panera doesn’t have to give me anything free I’m already a customer I frequent there often. They know that I’ve been there 8 times last month and that I bought four bagels, I had a coffee every time and the other four times I had oatmeal.
I challenge you to find something in your email marketing that is going to get customers to purchase from you again. Give them something free, if you are a pizzeria giving them free breadsticks would be huge or if you are a restaurant giving them a free drink. Something to get them in your business faster and sooner than they might have. This will grow you business over and over again.
